Directions for Use:
Remove chimney and fill the base with Crown Lamp Oil. Do not overfill. Lamp oil level should be at least 3/4” inch below the top of neck. Screw burner assembly back into base. Allow 5 minutes for the wick to absorb oil. Raise the wick to light. Once lit, replace chimney and adjust the wick so that it does not extend above the top of the metal combustion chamber. Wick height is extremely important. The wick should never be visible above the dome of the burner.
A high flame will cause smoke or soot damage. If any smoke or soot is observed, immediately lower the wick until all smoke has ceased. Failure to follow these directions could result in severe smoke damage. If there appears to be a malfunction, extinguish the lamp immediately. Never leave a burning oil lamp unattended. Keep out of reach of children.
