Apply this gel formula over existing caulk, and within 2 – 3 hours, the tough caulk has softened for easy removal. 16 oz bottle covers up to 47 linear feet of caulk.
- PLEASE NOTE: Always test on a small area of the surface around caulk first.
- Apply a thin layer of Crown Caulk Remover, covering the existing caulk completely.
- Let set for at least 2 hours.
- Remove the loosened caulk with a caulk-removing tool or putty knife. If the caulk is not easily removed, let it sit for another hour, and try again.
- If any caulk residue remains after removing, apply more Crown Caulk Remover on the area. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes before removing the residue.
- Clean the surface with water and let the surface dry completely before re-caulking.
Not for use on painted surfaces or on coatings made from acrylic, fiberglass, epoxy, plastics, or composites. Do not let our silicone caulk remover come in contact with coated and painted surfaces, as damage may occur. Wipe up drips immediately with a wet towel. Store in dry, cool, well-ventilated areas away from strong oxidizing agents, strong reducing agents, strong acids, strong bases, food, and drink. Keep out of reach of children.
